LATE PICK-UP POLICY
Closing Time/Emergency Boarding: Pondside closes at 6:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. If your dog has not been picked up by closing time and you have not made prior arrangements, your dog will be enrolled in emergency boarding and will stay at our boarding facility overnight. You will be charged a late fee of $50 in addition to the regular daycare fee, and you may pick up your dog the following day during regular business hours.
Pondside Petcare has in-home pet-sitting appointments that we need to tend to after daycare hours.
Daycare Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is required by 6:30 pm the day prior to your reservation.
After 6:30 pm the day prior, a cancellation fee of $25 applies.
The no-show fee is also $25.
Please give us advanced notice to offer the space to another family.
Payments & Fees
Payment is expected at the time that services are rendered. We accept all major credit cards through the PetExec System and although this is our preferred payment method, we also accept cash. Any returned or unpaid item is subject to an automatic $40 fee. Outstanding invoices will be assessed a late payment fee of $100 for every 30 days overdue. Clients with outstanding charges will not be able to come to daycare or boarding or make reservations for either until their outstanding balance is paid. In the event that a client is frequently delinquent, prepayment will be required for all services.
Packages
Daycare packages are non-refundable aside from extraordinary circumstances as determined by the business owner. In order to qualify for package rates, packages must be pre-paid. The value paid for the package expires 30 days from the date of purchase. Please be mindful of how often your dog will attend daycare prior to purchasing a pre-paid package.
Additional Reminders:
We request that your dog come to daycare with a leash, a well-fitted collar (with a flat buckle) or properly fitted harness, and ID tags. This will enable us to easily bring your dog in and out of the daycare. Pinch and chain collars are allowed, but we will remove them in the daycare setting for safety reasons. No retractable leashes are allowed.
If your dog requires feeding during the day, please bring the food in a container labeled with your dog’s name and feeding instructions.
Due to food allergies, we do not offer treats or have any " house food" available to feed your dog.
We are also able to administer most medications throughout the day. Please call us for details.
Please do not bring your dog to daycare if he or she is showing signs of illness. Symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, coughing, or discharge from the eyes or nose may indicate an illness that could be contagious to other dogs. If your dog shows signs of illness while at daycare, we will remove him or her from the pack to a quiet area, and then alert you or your emergency contact.
Your dog’s health and safety at our daycare is of the utmost importance to us. In the course of playtime with other dogs throughout the day, minor injuries such as scrapes or bumps may occur. In the event that your dog becomes sick or injured during the day, our staff will assist him or her immediately to ensure his or her safety. We will then contact you, or your emergency contact, to alert you of the situation.
Lastly, if you are unable to walk your dog prior to daycare drop-off. Please inform a staff member in order to avoid your dog having an accident inside the facility.
